Is it really spring break?

This is what we woke up to this morning.  It is beautiful, but a strange way to spend Spring Break!  Our goal this week was to plant our garden...hmmm.  

This is our newly blossomed weeping cherry tree. I think it is actually weeping.  Hopefully the blossoms will survive!

Easter

Easter has always been one of my favorite holidays.  I love what it represents, and I love the renewal that springtime brings.  Here's a glimpse of what our day was like before we attended church...

Soaking the eggs

The Easter Bunny brought them paint this year...they were anxious to use it!

They attended a neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, and got plenty of candy from that, so the E.B. brought other surprises!

GLOW

The second grade classes do a play called "Glow" each year.  Brooke was a parrot/narrator.
